On Sunday 30th August 2009 at Hampden Park, Glasgow, the Scottish Football Association under the instructions of Chief Executive Gordon Smith held its first Youth Forum (see Latest News to get the whole story).

The purpose was to discuss how we can work together to move our game forward in the future.

The invitation from Director of Football Development, Jim Fleeting went out to all 30 professional football clubs in Scotland. It was calculated that these clubs account for around 2, 700 young players, so who represented the juvenile youth players, the school players, those involved in 7-a-side football or fun-fours?

Will the SFA hold a similar forum for the real grassroots clubs?

At the conclusion of the forum, the SFA held a survey, so now its our turn!

We want to find out what the real grassroots think, take the survey and help us build a true picture of what the army of youth football volunteers think.
