The Petition was presented on Thursday 28th January 2010. A number of MSP's gathered after First Minsters questions, no doubt somewhat amused at Shadow Minister Frank McAveety's keepie-upie!
The day was enjoyed by us all at realgrassroots, especially the young boys Ross and Lewis who were the centre of attention.
The Daily Record were on hand to photograph the moment with BBC Radio Scotland and a television camera all focused on the official handing over of the Petition.
Below we have some pics of the day. It is anticipated the Petition will be addresed in April of this year, so in the meantime, our focus is to continue to gain evidence in the form of the feedback articles. It is vital that players, parents and coaches across the land tell us of their experiences with the Youth Initiative system and Scottish Youth football.
